Purpose

The purpose of The Herbert Mahne Family Foundation’s Junior Board is to engage the third generation, G3, through learning how the Foundation operates and raising awareness of responsible giving. Training focuses on philanthropy and serving others in the community. There is an emphasis on effective grant making and foundation management.

Austin Arthur Mahne Aragon
Great-Grand Son

Austin is currently a freshman enrolled in the Honors College at Fordham University Lincoln Center majoring in Sociology.

Aspen Christine Mahne Aragon
Great-Grand daughter

Aspen is currently a freshman at Marymount Manhattan College, where she is studying Dance: Body Science and motion and a part of the College Honors Program.

Anniston Victoria Mahne Aragon
Great-Grand daughter

Anniston is currently a Sophomore in high school. She is a vital member of both the softball and tennis teams. She is also a co-president FASA (Filipino-American Student Association)

Goals

The goal for the Junior Board is to understand the mission of The Herbert Mahne Family Foundation, to foster an interest in the Foundation, and to prepare the members to be effective participants. The Junior Board meets annually to discuss the Foundation’s operations.
