The purpose of The Herbert Mahne Family Foundation’s Junior Board is to engage the third generation, G3, through learning how the Foundation operates and raising awareness of responsible giving. Training focuses on philanthropy and serving others in the community. There is an emphasis on effective grant making and foundation management.

Avalon Grace Mahne Aragon

Avalon is a fourth year student at the George Washington University studying Public Health and double minoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Austin Arthur Mahne Aragon
Great-Grand Son

Austin is currently a senior in high school and also serving as a CO-President to the Filipino-American Student Association

Aspen Christine Mahne Aragon
Great-Grand Daughter

Aspen is currently a senior in high school, she is very active in school being captain of the Dance Company and serving on the board of the AAPI Affinity group.

The goal for the Junior Board is to understand the mission of The Herbert Mahne Family Foundation, to foster an interest in the Foundation, and to prepare the members to be effective participants. The Junior Board meets annually to discuss the Foundation’s operations.
